Paintbrushes and Bluebonnets metal print by Steve Templeton. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
Some of the prettiest displays of bluebonnets in Texas are in the right of way and barrow ditches of state highways. The Texas Dept. of Transportation has for years seeded bluebonnets and paintbrushes along our highways, and if there has been enough moisture during the winter months, a simple drive down the road in springtime is a joy to behold.
This hillside is right outside Navasota, TX on Hwy 6, and my ever patient wife was fearing for my safety as we pulled of the busy highway to capture this and several other pictures.
