Artist's Description
South Padre Island, near Brownsville, Tx is one of my happy places. The Laguna Madre bay lies on the West Side of the narrow island, and the Gulf of Mexico is on the East side. We try to visit every year in fall, when the crowds are diminished and we try our hardest to eat all the shrimp we can stomach. There are always multiple opportunities to photograph birds, sunsets, sunrises, boats, waves, etc. etc. It never gets old.
