I've got a thing for the unappreciated seagull, especially with sun-kissed sparkly waves in the background!
I am a pilot, and love anything that flies, and as a child was enamored with the book "Johnathon Livingston Seagull." Seagulls are so common, that most bird photographers are not interested in shooting them often, but as my family loves to spend time on any beach we can find, I have the time and opportunity to shoot a lot of seagulls. They are, and can be majestic, fun, feisty, and competitive and clumsy, all at the same time. And, they make good photography subjects if one has the patience to catch the perfect shot.
