I'm being watched very carefully as I take this picture, and he's kind of giving me the ol' stink eye. Or, maybe, he's saying "get that camera out of my face?" I spent hours photographing these guys!

Taken during the middle of a multiple year drought in my part of West Texas, this guy was just chilling in what little water there was left in my stock tank, or pond. It was mostly mud, and most of that was dried up to boot. I love the sound of a big bullfrog's throaty croak in the evening, and if we get a good rain, they whole community tunes up and serenades us together.
