Description

It is a rare thing when it snows in my part of the world here in West Texas, and I always get excited and rush outside with my camera to see what there is to be photographed in this whole new and different looking environment.

Snow and ice has the ability to transform a rather mundane subject into something that's so different and delightful to the eyes! Due to our weather patterns, the snow hardly ever lasts more than a day, so one must feel and act on the immediacy of the moment if pictures are to be captured.
