Artist's Description
Some of the prettiest displays of bluebonnets in Texas are in the right of way and barrow ditches of state highways. The Texas Dept. of Transportation has for years seeded bluebonnets and paintbrushes along our highways, and if there has been enough moisture during the winter months, a simple drive down the road in springtime is a joy to behold. This scene includes rocks and cactus, which personifies the State of Texas in my opinion.
