Artist's Description
I got the bright idea that I wanted to try to lightpaint a landscape scene. Having never done it before, I picked #11 hole at the Abilene Country Club for this gigantic effort. The camera is facing East in this lightpainting, which meant that I and the poor guy that volunteered to help me had to be on location about 3:30 AM in order to have time to set up the equipment, and light paint the scene before the sun began to rise. In order to capture this perspective from above, I mounted my camera on a tripod, and then lashed the tripod onto an 8' ladder! Fortunately, the wind wasn't blowing that early in the morning, or my brilliant idea would never had worked due to the camera moving too much. This one looks great printed on metal!
